The link above brings you to the site I designed to display the “Ten Principles of Design” by Dieter Rams. I designed this site to section off each principle. This allows for the full attention of the viewer to be on that one principle. There are breaker elements that have a quote related to design. This quote is meant to inspire and teach the viewer.
The photography used is focused on interiors and how they portray that specific principle. It is important to remember design is used all around us.
Art Design Microsite - Futurism

The link above brings you my art microsite. I chose to create a microsite on the art movement of Futurism. This site uses Java Script to add move movement and energy to the page which is what Futurism is all about. During this movement, technology was booming and people were focused on bringing positivity into the world to move on from the past.
The design of this site breaks a lot of rules of design. Type can be hard to read when it is placed at certain angles and broken up in weird areas. There is a focus on energy and speed that keeps the eye moving throughout the site.
